I’ll be doing a talk on my book Brew Beer Like a Yeti and sitting down for a conversation with Toast Ale, a London brewery that brews award-winning beer with surplus bread. We’ll also be serving a special festival ale that is being brewed in collaboration with myself, Toast Ale and Beer Noveau!

This is a great, highly intensive festival where you can learn from many experts in herbalism and related subjects and cavort with “oddkins” all while breathing in crisp mountain air. I will be launching a 2-week Pacific Northwest tour with a collaborative discussion on Nordic brewing with Mika Laitinen of brewingnordic.com and author of Viking Age Brew. Mika and I are planning other brewing-related endeavors, including hopefully brewing up a batch of Finnish sahti to serve at a Seattle brewery. Stay tuned!
